The 88 bus stops in front of LW. It is a BART/Mission shuttle and it runs only in the early morning.

The only full service bus stopping in front of the LW apartments is the 18-46th Ave. This bus loops. It stops on the Lake side of the street and the apartment side of the street depending on the this location's spot on the loop. The full route is printed below. Click on this link for the timetable.

RETURN Legion of Honor Drive, Clement, 33rd Avenue, Geary, Point Lobos, Great Highway, Balboa, La Playa, Fulton, Great Highway, Lincoln Way, 46th Avenue, Vicente, 47th Avenue, Sloat, Skyline, Herbst, Armory, Skyline, John Muir, Lake Merced Boulevard, Winston, 19th Avenue to Buckingham.

M Ocean is a light rail line which runs under the West Portal tunnel to the end of Market Street. Take the 18 to Stonestown and transfer to the M.

L Taraval is light rail which originates and ends on 46th street and Wawona (a block away from the SF Zoo). This streetcar goes all the way to the end of Market Street.
